Meet our Board
Meet our Advisor, Liz Cretti Oleson, ANP-BC
Liz Oleson is a board-certified adult nurse practitioner with over 15 years of experience in sexual and reproductive health. She has worked at San Francisco General Hospital, the City of Berkeley Public Health Clinic, and UC Davis Student Health and Counseling Services. Liz is passionate about trauma-informed care and brings that approach to every patient visit. Her clinical interests include contraception, gender-affirming care and cervical cancer screenings. When she is not working, Liz enjoys spending time with her family, watching youth softball and reading fantasy romance novels.
Our Story
Hello! We are Zara and Tianeh, co-founders of HerScope. After discovering each other's mutual passion for women's health in our third year, we decided we wanted to join a club. UC Davis had many community-service-based organizations, but none that addressed the gap in women's health education, advocacy or awareness.

So, we decided to create one.

What started as a shared frustration has grown into a community built on curiosity, passion, and action. We’re excited to continue expanding HerScope and working toward a future where women’s health is openly discussed, understood, and prioritized.
